Read Write Web raise an interesting question in a new article can Facebook after being a fun place to go for a long time now take over from Linked in as the main business social. The article suggests that probably the biggest concern from a consumer perspective about using general social networks for business networking had to do with privacy. This is a massive concern for system creators as the general public is not always clever enough to figure privacy settings out. Just look at your average Bebo page. These things are permanent people. When you start adding colleagues or other business contacts, you have to be more careful about what you expose on your profile. But with the addition of new privacy controls last week, Facebook users now have more granular control over who sees what on the site.
