The past decade has seen many a number of successful indie bands from Sweden - the Cardigans, Shout Out Louds, the Wannadies, the Hives,the Concretes (my fav) and more recently Victoria Bergsman and Peter Bjorn and John have blown up, these just being the most successful internationally - but never a rush like this. A whole heap of fabulous Swedish indie punk and pop albums have been released over the course of the past year, with more to come. Swedes Please (no podcast) is a blog dedicated to presenting Swedish groups and has some great content. I met some sweedish people at the weekend so I decided to spread the joy that is Swedish pop perfection.
